Haemostatic dressings are a potion-type item that cures bleed when applied, healing 5 Hitpoints if bleeding was stopped via its use. It is made by using cotton yarn on haemostatic poultice, requiring 56 Herblore and granting 100 Herblore experience; though not a true "potion", the amulet of chemistry acts as normal when making haemostatic dressings, and prescription goggles are able to save cotton yarns. Bob Barter will decant dressings like other potion-type items.
Haemostatic dressings can be consumed even if the player is not bleeding.

Trivia
- Haemostatic dressing was initially proposed as anti-bleed tonic, but its name was changed after player feedback.
- Although Haemostatic dressings can be decanted like potions, and its previous two steps can be placed in potion storage, the dressings themselves cannot be stored there.
- The amount of uses the dressing has left matches the amount of points on the edge of the cloth, allowing for a more consistent way to tell the current uses without memorizing the different thicknesses of the spool.
- Haemostatic dressing cannot be used to cure Zebak's "bleed", since it is not a true bleed.
