The Guardians of Armadyl are an ancient order of Armadyleans tasked with protecting the legendary Staff of Armadyl. For generations, they have guarded the Temple of Ikov and the staff within. Alongside Larrissa, they are the only known group of human followers of the god Armadyl.

Quests
Temple of Ikov
The Mahjarrat Lucien tasks the player with bringing him the Staff of Armadyl, as he claims he cannot bypass the temple's defences to get the staff himself. Players can choose to side with Lucien and kill the Guardians of Armadyl to get the staff, or they can side with the Guardians, who give the player an Armadyl pendant which they must wear to defeat Lucien.
While Guthix Sleeps
Regardless of who the player sided with during Temple of Ikov, Lucien has obtained the Staff, and the leader of the Guardians, Idria, sends the player the Armadyl communiqué, requesting that they help stop him. An alliance is formed between Guardians of Armadyl, Crux Eqal, and the Temple Knights to stop Lucien, who has been sending mercenaries and assassins after them. Ultimately, after failing to prevent Lucien from claiming the Stone of Jas, the Guardians help the player fight off two Tormented Demons that Lucien summoned as he left with the stone.
