Enakhra is a Zamorakian Mahjarrat, featured in the Enakhra's Lament quest. Enakhra is the last known female Mahjarrat. Enakhra is Akthanakos's rival and very loyal to Zamorak, in whose honour she built an entire temple in secret in the Kharidian Desert.
History
Like the other Mahjarrat, Enakhra was brought to Gielinor long ago by Icthlarin to fight against the Zarosian Empire, but switched sides. Formerly a Pontifex in the Zarosian Empire, she was one of the Mahjarrat who sided with Zamorak in the betrayal of Zaros. She acted mostly independent of the other Zamorakian forces during the God Wars.[1]
During the Third Age, she built a temple in honor of Zamorak, but was spurned by him when she showed it to him.[2] After this rejection, Enakhra decided to instead create a weapon for him. She contacted Akthanakos, a supporter of Zaros, and lured him to the temple on the pretext that she had repented and was changing sides, but it was a lie.[3] She trapped Akthanakos inside the temple, transforming him into and enslaving him as one of the boneguards in the temple to be a weapon for Zamorak.[4]
For thousands of years, Enakhra remained in the temple, keeping Akthanakos under her control.[5] At some point in the Fourth Age, knights from Avarrocka tasked with destroying Enakhra and her temple were sent into the desert.[6] However, they failed, being quickly slain.
Over the years, her hold on Akthanakos grew weaker,[7] and with the help of an adventurer, Akthanakos was able to break free of her control, and the two Mahjarrat left the temple to continue their feud in the North.
Enakhra also played a role in Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire, sending the Mysterious Figure after the player to try and claim the medallions for herself.[8] She was also present along with all of the other Mahjarrat after the Ancient Vault was opened, fighting with Akthanakos after Sliske summoned his wights to protect him while he claimed the Elder Horn.
