A bracelet of slaughter is a topaz bracelet enchanted via the Lvl-3 Enchant spell.
When worn, there is a 25% chance for a Slayer task kill to not count as a kill towards it, but still granting the appropriate Slayer experience (excluding TzTok-Jad and TzKal-Zuk). This results in Slayer tasks lasting 33.3% longer on average. This effect is the inverse of the expeditious bracelets effect. Note that the bracelet needs to be worn only for the tick the Slayer XP drop appears for the effect to occur. This means that for the rest of the fight, other bracelets or gloves can be worn such as the Barrows gloves. The effects of the bracelet make it an ideal switch choice when completing desirable tasks, primarily bosses when inventory space is not an issue.
All bracelets of slaughter share the same pool of 30 charges, with a charge consumed every time the worn effect is activated. When the last charge is consumed, the number of charges will reset to 30, and the worn bracelet will disappear. Dropping or alching a bracelet will not reset the shared charges; the only way to reset the charges at will is to use the right-click "break" option to sacrifice a bracelet early. In addition, the elite Combat Achievements rewards add a 10% chance for the bracelet to regenerate rather than disappearing, allowing it to be used for another set of charges.
On average, you will need 1 charge per 3 assigned monsters. So, an estimate of the number of charges can be calculated as C=x3 , where C is the charges required and x is the assigned slayer count. For example, an assigned slayer count of 132 results in: C=1323=44.
Players can estimate the number of bracelets required per task by dividing the number of charges required by 30 and rounding up. In this example, the number of bracelets required is ⌈4430⌉=⌈1.46⌉=2, so the player will need 2 bracelets of slaughter. You can also simply divide the assigned slayer count by 90 to receive the same answer.
At the current price of the bracelet, the price per extra kill is about 70.37.
