Apple presses are using in brewing to make apple mush from four cooking apples with an empty bucket. Apple mush is used solely to make cider and mature cider. There are four apple presses. One is located in eastern Keldagrim, on the second floor of the Laughing Miner Pub. The second is located in Port Phasmatys underneath the The Green Ghost pub. The third apple press is found in the apple orchard just outside the Tree Gnome Stronghold. The last is found in the Moonrise Brewery and Winery on the island of Aldarin.

While the apple press outside the Tree Gnome Stronghold is primarily used during the Mourning's End Part I quest to turn rotten apples into a rotten apple barrel, it can still be used to create apple mush.
