Zaff's Superior Staffs is a staff shop located near central Varrock, owned by Zaff. It is the main source of battlestaves and of elemental staves for free players.

Varrock Diary discount perk
Players who have completed tiers of the Varrock Diary may buy noted battlestaves at a discounted price of 7,000 coins each once per day from the barrel on the ground floor[UK]1st floor[US] of the shop. The number of staves available depends on the player's progress in the Varrock Diary.
Buying discounted battlestaves is a good daily moneymaking method, as players can immediately sell them on the Grand Exchange, where they usually go for a profit. The current price of a battlestaff is 7,961 (7,802 after tax). Players can also choose not to sell them and use them to train Crafting by making elemental battlestaves, which is especially useful for Ironmen.
The table below shows the corresponding number of available battlestaves for each of the Varrock Diary sets, and the profit made from selling them on the Grand Exchange.

Trivia
- Laying on the northern table inside the shop, there appears to be a Pharaoh's sceptre, a Slayer's staff, and the Rod of Ivandis. Additionally, against the wall are some staves with heads similar to that of Ahrim's staff. However, Zaff does not sell any of these in his shop.
