The sunstone monolith can be mined with 53 Mining to obtain sunstone, which is used in golem crafting.
The sunstone monolith offers an AFK alternative to regular sunstone rocks mining as it never depletes. However, unlike sunstone rocks, the monolith does not make use of the momentum mechanic. The sunstone monolith is affected by Mining enhancers.
The monolith can be mined without starting Fallen From Grace, but once the quest is begun, it can only be inspected until the quest is progressed.
