Silverlight key is one of the three keys needed to unlock Silverlight from its sealed casing during the Demon Slayer quest. During the start of the quest the player learns that Sir Prysin dropped his key down a drain. Using a bucket of water on the drain outside of the Varrock Palace kitchen will make the key fall down into Varrock Sewers.

This key unlike the other Silverlight keys is rusted, most likely due to it being stuck in the drain for a long time.

If destroyed, the player has to use another bucket of water on the drain to make a new key spawn in the sewers.

10 December 2015 (Update \| poll)	The examine of this key has been updated from "Sir Prysin dropped this key down the drain." to "Sir Prysin dropped this key down the drain (Used in the Demon Slayer quest)." so its purpose is better described.
29 August 2006 (Update)	The item was graphically updated with the rework of Demon Slayer. The item was renamed from "Key" to "Silverlight key". The item's value was increased from 1 to 100. The "Drop" option was replaced with a "Destroy" option.
