Rusty casket

The rusty casket is a quest item found by the player during the Horror from the Deep quest after killing the Dagannoth Mother. After completing the quest, players can take this to Jossik by going up the stairs of the lighthouse and he will tell them something is written on it.

Depending on which answer they give, he will give them a damaged prayer book in one of three colours, which correspond to the three major gods of Gielinor: Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak. You can buy the other books from him afterwards for 5000 coins each, including those for Armadyl, Bandos, and Zaros.

The pages for these books can be received from all levels of Treasure Trails, except for beginner clues.

Note: Dropping the casket and trying to pick it back up, the game will yield the message, It is too old and fragile to pick up. Speaking to Jossik will state that he found the dropped casket and prompt the player to select a prayer book. Additionally, Telekinetic Grab cannot be cast on the dropped casket and if it was ever banked, Jossik would ask the player to retrieve it before proceeding to the prayer book selection.

• If the player wishes their reward was aligned for one of the other gods, Jossik will comment how "interesting stuff" keeps washing up around the lighthouse and how he might find "something more suitable" for the player in the future.
