An ogre relic is a quest item that appears in the Watchtower quest. During the quest, it is given as a gift to the ogre guards, who stand at the gates of Gu'Tanoth. In return, they grant the player permanent access to the city. It should also be noted from a lore point of view that upon gifting the relic to the guards, they recognise it as a statue of the ogre warrior, Dalgroth.
The player can make the ogre relic by giving the three individual pieces to the Watchtower Wizard and having him combine them, each of which is obtained by performing tasks for ogres who live in and around Gu'Tanoth. Attempting to use the pieces on each other in order to combine the pieces will only result with the game message, "The pieces look like they would fit together, but you can't work out how to do it. Maybe someone with more experience of ogres could help."
- Relic part 1 is obtained by retrieving a stolen bar of gold for Og.
- Relic part 2 is obtained by defeating Gorad and giving his ogre tooth to Grew.
- Relic part 3 is obtained by giving Toban a dragon bone.
Should the item be lost or destroyed before being given to the ogre guards near the gates of the ogre city, it can be reobtained by speaking to the Watchtower Wizard.
