Ogre artefact is an item obtained during the The Corsair Curse quest.
During the quest, it comes to light that it was stolen by Arsen the Thief and must be returned to Chief Tess to lift the curse. However, it is revealed that Arsen simply grabbed one of her many tooth-picks, and that her shamans have not actually cursed the crew.
