Ogre arrows are used for hunting large game birds such as Chompy birds and Jubbly birds. These arrows can only be fired from ogre bows or composite ogre bows. Ogre arrows are required in Big Chompy Bird Hunting and the Freeing Skrach Uglogwee sub-quest of Recipe for Disaster.
They can be created through the Fletching skill at level 5, by using wolfbone arrowtips on flighted ogre arrows. 6 arrows can be made at a time with 1.0 Fletching experience granted per arrow made.
The player can claim ogre arrows once daily for free from Rantz after completion of the Western Provinces diary. He will give players 25, 50, 100, or 150 free ogre arrows each day, depending on completion of the easy, medium, hard, and elite diaries, respectively.
