Nemus Retreat is a camp situated in Auburn Valley. Named after General Nemus, it serves as a stop off for travellers in Varlamore.
History
According to the camp's bartender, Nemus Retreat served as a military camp for Emperor Imafore Tullus's army during the War of Betrayal, where General Nemus's forces were stationed.[1] When ordered to burn Auburn Valley to stop Kourend's advances, Nemus refused;[2] consequently, Imafore ordered his execution.[3] This action resulted in Nemus's forces no longer supporting the war[3] and ultimately contributed to Imafore's eventual defeat.[4]
Transportation
To get to this location, players can use:
- The Pendant of Ates teleport.
- The Quetzal Transport System to Auburnvale, then run south-west. The landing site does not have to be built.
- Using Fairy Ring AIS, then run west and use the stepping stones and broken wall Agility shortcuts, requiring 36 and 24 Agility, respectively.
- Follow the mountain guide at Quetzacalli Gorge.
