Machetes are one-handed slash swords most often used to cut jungle in the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame, and to enter the Kharazi Jungle. Being a slash sword with an attack speed of 5 ticks, they can be thought of as slow scimitars.
The normal machete is sold at both the Karamja general store and the Shilo Village general store. The opal, jade, and red topaz machetes are sold at Gabooty's Tai Bwo Wannai Cooperative for trading sticks or can be obtained by exchanging 3 of their respective gems, 1 gout tuber, and trading sticks with Safta Doc.
