The Forthos Ruin is a ruined stronghold found in western Hosidius. It was used sometime during the War of the Five Houses, a civil war between the five Houses of Great Kourend.
A number of skeletons inhabit the structure, and the western entrance to the Forthos Dungeon can be found in the south-west corner of the ruins.
Transportation
The Forthos Ruin is west of the Hosidius town square and south of Kourend Castle. Besides walking, the ruin can be easily reached by various teleport methods:
- Kharedst's memoirs/Book of the Dead - "Lunch by the Lancalliums" brings the player by the River Hos just north-east of the ruin.
- Watson teleport - Brings the player to Watson's house, just west of the ruin.
- Spirit tree - Brings the player just south of the ruin.
- Lovakengj Minecart Network - The Hosidius West station of the minecart network brings the player just south of the ruin.
- Skills necklace - Teleport to the Woodcutting Guild just south of the ruin.
