Fire Walls are found in the Shaman Caves in the form of an octagram, sealing Ungadulu inside. During the Legends' Quest, the player must obtain a bowl of pure water and use it on the fire wall in order to extinguish a part of it and walk through. After the player has defeated Nezikchened inside the octagram of fire, Ungadulu casts a spell on the player, allowing them to freely walk through the fire wall by either attempting to touch it or by investigating it.

Success chance
The following success rates are provided by Jagex. Prior to obtaining the spell from Ungadulu, touching the fire wall can deal some damage; and while you are inside the Fire Walls, you can escape the by jumping through the flames. Both of these actions trigger an Agility skilling success chance roll.
If you fail the roll when touching the wall, you take 1-5 Hitpoints of damage, otherwise nothing happens. If you fail to escape, you take 50% of your Hitpoints in damage and your Attack, Strength, and Defence levels are drained by 50%; if you succeed, you only take 10% of your Hitpoints in damage and the three skills are drained by 10%.
Once you obtain the spell from Ungaldulu, touching or escaping the fire wall passes through it freely.
