The fake man is an item used in Eadgar's Ruse. Players need to give this item to Burntmeat, the troll cook in the Troll Stronghold, in order to find the location of the rare goutweed herb. It is really made of grain, raw chicken, dirty robes, and a drunk parrot.
Players can obtain multiple fake men by drop tricking. Burntmeat will only take one from the player's inventory during the quest.
