Entangle

Entangle is a members-only spell that requires level 79 Magic to cast. Casting Entangle will hold your target in place for 24 ticks (14.4 seconds) and grants 89 Magic experience (in addition to 2 experience per damage dealt). A successful hit, without any damage boosting items, can deal up to 5 damage. When used on a player and the entanglement is about to wear off, the entangled player will receive this message in their chatbox: The holding effect is beginning to fade. Players can increase the binding duration by equipping swampbark armour; the helm, body, and legs will increase the duration by 2 ticks (1.2 seconds) each, up to a maximum of 30 ticks (18.0 seconds).

Once the spell wears off, the target has 5 ticks (3 seconds) of immunity before they can be entangled again.

Unsuccessful cast, or a splash, yields only 70 Magic experience.

Entangle is a stronger version of the level 20 spell Bind and the level 50 spell Snare.

If you cast Entangle on a player in PvP, your entangle will be cancelled if you move more than 10 tiles away from the player you entangled.
