Stone circles are holy sites of Guthixian religion scattered across the world of Gielinor. Stone circles are named such for their appearance, which is similar to that of the real-world Stonehenge. They were constructed by the druids early in the Fourth Age.[1]

Taverley stone circle
The Stone Circle found in Taverley is the last surviving Circle still under Guthixian control.[2] The circle is incredibly important to the druidic order of Taverley, it serving as their primary worship site as well as a place of study and research.[3] Every year in the middle of the summer, the druids perform a ritual and make offerings to the Altar of Guthix in the centre of the circle to thank Guthix for creating the world, protect nature from evil corrupting spirits, and to keep Gielinor in balance.[4][5]
The Circle is overseen primarily by Kaqemeex, an important druid within Taverley.
Treasure Trails
Searching the stones several steps west of the Taverley Stone Circle is the solution to an elite cryptic clue: A Guthixian ring lies between two peaks. Search the stones and you'll find what you seek.
The Taverley Stone Circle is the location to an easy clue scroll: "Cheer at the Druid's Circle. Equip a blue wizard hat, a bronze two-handed sword and HAM boots."
Varrockian stone circle
The Stone Circle south of Varrock fell out of Guthixian hands in the year 19 of the Fifth Age, into the possession of dark wizards attempting to summon Delrith.[6] There are many aggressive dark wizards there, so low-levelled players should avoid it. The stone circle is important in the Demon Slayer quest.
The druids are currently attempting to regain their hold on the Varrock Stone Circle. During Druidic Ritual, a potion is made using the Cauldron of Thunder that will reinforce Guthixian power in the Varrock circle.[7] The goutweed obtained during Eadgar's Ruse is used in the next step of the reclaiming ritual, but the results are yet to be seen.[8]
Ancient Guthixian Temple circle
A stone circle can be found within the Ancient Guthixian Temple. During While Guthix Sleeps, the player must gather eight miniature dolmens, which are placed on the stone table to form a miniature stone circle. Once all the dolmens are placed, a much larger stone circle rises out of the ground, unlocking the door that leads deeper into the temple.
Trivia
- The original theory of the creation of Stonehenge was that it was built by Celtic druids. The inclusion of the stone circles within Guthixian druid lore is a reference to this.
