Clay head

The clay head is an item created during the quest Getting Ahead with a knife and soft clay. It is used to attempt to convince Gordon that players have killed the Headless Beast. However, he will not believe them, and players must use bear fur, grey wolf fur, or fur on it (while having a needle and thread) to create the fur head to try convincing him again.

The player can only have one clay head at a time. Attempting to create another with a clay head in the player's inventory results in the chatbox stating "You already have a clay head." If the player banks the clay head and crafts another one in the inventory, the clay head stored in the bank is destroyed. After mounting a bloody head to the Mounted Head Space in Gordon and Mary's house, the clay head (and other fake head variants) are destroyed and can no longer be created again.

The clay head is destroyed upon death. If lost during the quest, the player needs to create another.

This item cannot leave a placeholder in the bank.
