Bronze crossbow

A bronze crossbow is the weakest metal crossbow in the game. It requires a Ranged level of 1 to wield, and can only fire bronze bolts. It has an attack range of 7, increased to 9 with long range.

Bronze crossbows can be made through the Fletching skill at level 9; a player must first cut a wooden stock for the crossbow from logs, granting 6 Fletching experience. Then, a player must add bronze limbs to the stock with a hammer in their inventory, granting 12 experience and making an unstrung bronze crossbow. Finally, a player must string the crossbow with a crossbow string, granting 6 experience. Creating a bronze crossbow from raw materials grants 24 Fletching experience in total.

An unlimited supply of bronze crossbows can be found via a crate located in Armadyl's Eyrie, due south of the grapple spot. However, the player requires a crossbow to access the Eyrie. The "drop trick" can be utilised here to obtain multiple bronze crossbows, as players can only retrieve a bronze crossbow from this crate if they do not already have a crossbow of any kind on their character, be it in their inventory or equipped.

You are also able to obtain up to 3 bronze crossbows every day by searching the Fletching cape, as long as you are not currently in a PvP Arena duel.
