Armadyl armour

Armadyl armour is a set of armour consisting of the Armadyl helmet, the Armadyl chestplate, the Armadyl chainskirt.

It is dropped by General Kree'arra and his three minions, (Wingman Skree, Flockleader Geerin, and Flight Kilisa) in the God Wars Dungeon. The pieces require 70 Ranged and 70 Defence to wear, and are considered the second best defensive ranged armour in-game, behind fortified masori armour.

Compared to other commonly used ranged armours, Armadyl armour has better ranged attack and overall defence bonuses than Karil's armour while also not degrading at the same time, thus avoiding the need to repair it. It is also stronger than void ranged armour against targets with high Defence levels and/or Ranged bonuses. It also has a slight prayer bonus. The only drawback of the armour set is that it provides negative melee bonuses, making it less than ideal for places where the player may need to use ranged armour and melee weapons, such as bloodvelds or the Thermonuclear smoke devil.

Armadyl armour can be broken down into Armadylean plate pieces with a chisel, which can be used to upgrade Masori armour to its fortified variant, significantly increasing its defensive bonuses. This requires 90 Crafting, and may be boosted.
