Wind Strike is an air-based strike spell in the standard spellbook available starting at level 1 Magic. As an offensive combat spell it can only be cast on attackable NPCs, or other players in a PvP situation.
Wind Strike is the weakest wind spell in the game, as well as the first combat spell players gain access to. It is commonly used by players training Magic via splashing, due to its low rune cost.
Damage
Wind Strike's base maximum hit starts at 2 and increases as the player unlocks additional strike spells, up to 8 at level 13 Magic.

As with all combat spells, Wind Strike's maximum hit is also increased based on the player's magic damage bonus.
As an air-based spell, Wind Strike's maximum hit is also increased against targets that are weak to air.

Notable uses
- On Tutorial Island, the magic instructor Terrova tasks the player with casting Wind Strike on a chicken.
- As a strike spell, Wind Strike is one of the only spells that can be used to damage Salarin the twisted. When used this way, its damage is scaled up to match that of Wind Bolt.
