Wilderness obelisks are members'-only teleportation devices in the Wilderness. There are six obelisks in total. Two are under level 20 Wilderness and a further one is between 20-30, totalling three obelisks within the range wherein conventional teleports are usable. The remaining three obelisks are found at level 35+ Wilderness.
The obelisks are all the same, occupying a 5x5 area with four obelisks to the corners and a 3x3 grid in the centre. In order to teleport, the player must first touch one of the obelisks, then stand in the 3x3 grid in the centre to teleport after a short delay. This will teleport everyone in the 3x3 grid regardless if they activated it or not, following rules set by the first player who activated it. The obelisk will only teleport players who are not under the effects of a Tele Block. The location that the obelisk will send the player(s) in is completely random, and players may even be teleported to the same location. Once teleportation is complete, players will be notified with the message Ancient magic teleports you somewhere in the Wilderness!
After collecting the rewards from the Hard Wilderness Diary, players will be able to select the location that the obelisk can teleport them. To do this, players must first right-click the obelisk for "Set Destination" and then pick the obelisk they wish to teleport to in the subsequent interface. Then, after a destination is selected, they must right-click for the "Teleport to Destination" option to be teleported there. If the player does not do this (or another player activates it), they will follow rules that were applied by the first player to activate the obelisk.
Players should be careful when activating an obelisk, as three of the obelisks are in multicombat areas and it is possible to be ambushed by multiple players after teleportation. Obelisks can also be used by player killers to keep a victim in place or teleport them to one of the three multicombat areas, which can spell a quick death.
Players can also teleport to these obelisks using an Obelisk found in their player-owned house, which follow the same behaviour of those found in the Wilderness.

Wilderness obelisks no longer require clicking through a menu to choose a destination. Now left-click travel will take players to a random destination. With the hard Wilderness Diary complete, there is an option to set a 'favourite' destination for the portals and another teleports you to that favourite. |
