The wild broav is a hunter creature caught during the quest While Guthix Sleeps in the Feldip Hills, using a special pitfall trap and a Mort Myre fungus as bait. It is obtained as an unconscious broav.
Unlike other creatures caught with pitfall traps, the broav does not need to be teased nor can it attack the player. When the trap is baited, the broav will spawn nearby and wander around for a random period of time before falling for the trap.
After being caught, it can be taken to the Hunting expert to be trained into the broav psuedo-pet. If the broav is lost, this process can be repeated both during and after the quest to obtain another one.
