Strange walls can be found within the basement of the Lighthouse. The walls block access to the room containing dagannoth, with partial completion of the Horror from the Deep quest being required to open the wall. During the quest, players must use one of each of the elemental runes (Air, Earth, Fire, and Water), a sword, and an arrow on the central wall slabs in order to unlock the doors. Items are not returned after being used on the strange wall. Subsequent uses of the doors do not require items.
The doors of the strange wall are one-way doors; the eastern door can only be used to enter the room, whilst the western door can only be used to exit the room.
