The Bucket of water is a quest item used during the Rum Deal quest. It is different to an ordinary bucket of water in that it must be filled from a stagnant lake near Braindeath Island Volcano, on Braindeath Island. The symbol of the stagnant lake is the normal symbol for a water source but has a bit of grey in it.
The bucket of water is then used to make the unsanitary swill that the player needs to continue the quest. Trying to obtain it after the quest will result in the message You do not need any more of that stuff!.
