The Ruined Village is a set of ruins in Vampyrium, found within the Sotfa Forest to the east of Sangvesti. During The Blood Moon Rises, players fight against Lowerniel Drakan for the first time here; after the quest, five ancient feral vyres can be found here.
The entrance to the Maggot King's lair can be found just to the west, and to the south there are bloodwood trees and leechfin fishing spots.
History
Prior to the arrival of Zaros on Vampyrium, this primitive village was one of many inhabited by vampyres.[1] This particular village was the site of a Night of the Blood Moon festival, during which Drakan slew his father Aramindus Drakan.[2]
