Principum Red is a rare wine most known to have been used by Emperor Imafore Tullus to poison the Kourend royal family, which directly resulted in the War of Betrayal.[1] It is an incredibly expensive wine, so much so that it is claimed one could comfortably live in retirement on its value alone.[2]
Though it is not known if bottles of Principum Red are obtainable in-game, players attempt to obtain a glass of one during Death on the Isle from an antique wine container in the Villa Lucens cellar on Patzi's request.
According to the book Moonrise Wines, Principum Red has distinct flavours of redberry, dragonfruit, dried cocoa, and marrentill, pairing well with grilled meats and rich savory dishes.
