The plank sack is an item that can be bought from the Mahogany Homes Reward Shop for 350 carpenter points. Only one plank sack may be owned at a time.
The sack holds a total of 28 planks of any type, they do not have any weight while inside, and can be used directly from the sack.
Servants never deliver planks into a plank sack when returning from the bank or sawmill, making it a poor option for Construction training in a player-owned house. It is generally useful for Ultimate Ironmen or when doing Mahogany Homes, increasing experience and carpenter points hourly rates, or for saving on banking trips for the Hallowed Sepulchre and Shipbuilding. This is very similar to how the log basket functions.
The plank sack does not need to be manually emptied in order to use its contents - planks can be used directly from the sack.
Players can quickly fill or empty the contents of the sack by right-clicking "Use" on the item whilst the bank interface is open. If there are no planks in the inventory, the contents of the sack will be emptied. If there are planks, it will fill using those in the inventory.
Upon death, the plank sack retains its contents, but it is sent to your gravestone or lost to the player who kills you.
