The plague sample is a quest item used only in Biohazard. It is obtained from Elena after returning her distillator to her.
It is given to Guidor in south-east Varrock, alongside liquid honey, sulphuric broline, ethenea, and touch paper.
Duplicates can be drop tricked by talking to Elena to obtain another. After talking to Guidor about the results of the test, all copies of the plague sample in the player's bank and inventory are deleted.
