Odd markings can be found on the walls of the Uzer Mastaba visited during The Curse of Arrav. They are located in the southernmost and northernmost alcoves of the room with the stone boat, just before the levers. The odd markings must be searched in order to disable the trap that lurks within the wall. If they are not disabled, the player will take up to 19 damage while walking past.
When searching the odd markings, the player can fail to disable the traps, which will print the following game message: You find a trap! You try to disable it, but fail to do so. If the player succeeds, the following message is printed: You find a trap, but you successfully manage to disable it.
