The new key is obtained during the Mourning's End Part II quest by talking to Essyllt in the basement of the Mourner Headquarters in West Ardougne. It is used on the west basement door to enter the tunnel to the Temple of Light, Dark Beasts, and runite ore. If dropped, another can be found by searching the desk in the south-east room of the basement. It can be added to the steel key ring.
