The Mime is a random event in which the Mysterious Old Man appears and offers to teleport players to the mime artist's stage. The player must copy the mime's actions to complete the event. The mime will perform one of 8 emotes (Think, Laugh, Cry, Dance, Climb Rope, Lean, Glass Box, and Glass Wall) that the player will need to copy. If the player gets it right, they will Cheer, and if wrong, they will Cry. If the player takes too long to make a decision, then the mime will perform another emote for the player to guess. You must correctly copy the mime 4 times to complete the event.

Once the player has completed the event, they will be returned to the place they were before and will be rewarded with either one or two pieces of the mime outfit or one of the four mime emotes. If the player already has all of these, they will be rewarded with an experience lamp instead.

• If a player is somehow able to cast a spell during the event, like for example with the Golden God relic from the Raging Echoes league, they will receive the message, You didn't come here to do that!
• Trying to teleport out of the event makes the player declare I need to finish my performance!
• In the audience there are three strange watchers who seem to represent the three main gods of Gielinor: Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak.
• The large door in the room is inoperable and cannot be used to exit early.
• Despite looking like it; the room is not instanced, and you can actually find other people here.
