The magic gold feather is a quest item used in the Holy Grail quest given to the player by King Arthur to help find Sir Percival.
Blowing on the feather will cause the feather to point either north, east, south, or west until the player reaches Goblin Village. Once the quest is completed, the feather has no use and can be safely dropped.
