The key is a quest item used in the Olaf's Quest quest. It is obtained by killing skeletons in a secret dungeon, and is used to unlock a door to progress further into the dungeon. The key is randomly selected from one of the five available, and the player must obtain that key to unlock the door.
Attempting to Telekinetic Grab the key whilst in the dungeon will fail, with a message claiming the salty air interferes with the spell.
