The Key is a quest item used only in Biohazard. It is automatically placed into the player's inventory after killing the level-13 Mourner on the 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] of the Mourner Headquarters in West Ardougne.
It is used to open a gate to access a stockroom full of crates, one of which holds a distillator.
Duplicates can be drop tricked by killing the mourner to obtain another. After talking to King Lathas about the plague hoax, all copies of the key in the player's bank and inventory are deleted. This key cannot be added to the steel key ring.
