Ice gate

The ice gate is a frozen gate that leads to the ice troll area before the Ice Path. Players cannot enter the path until they start Desert Treasure, and must first talk to the troll child near the gate to learn about his parents. Players can click on the gate from inside the area to exit at any time.

After entering the gate, players can stand on any of the tiles immediately touching the gate to remain unaffected by the cold; anywhere beyond that and players will being to feel the effects of chill. Opening an interface like the settings menu will pause the effect, as will talking with the non-aggressive troll just inside of the gate.

• Each half of the gate is a separate object, but only the northern gate can be passed through. Attempting to go through the southern gate will result in the player walking through the northern gate instead.
• The gate is slightly below ground level; the bottom of the object is not fully visible in-game.
