The Great Temple in Sophanem is the principal place of worship of Icthlarin, god of the dead.[1] It is located in the south-west of the city, between the River Elid and the Klenter's Pyramid. The temple is the seat of the High Priest of Icthlarin, who resides there with his clergy. The Contact! quest is started in the Great Temple, and it is visited frequently during Icthlarin's Little Helper.
The temple has two stories and an accessible roof, although the only feature of interest, the altar, is on the ground floor[UK]1st floor[US], directly behind the High Priest.
