Golden cannonball

The golden cannon ball is an item created and used for Dondakan's multicannon in the Between a Rock... quest. Players make it by using a gold bar on a furnace, with an ammo mould or double ammo mould in their inventory, granting 37.5 Smithing experience. This makes only one large cannon ball, instead of the four steel cannonballs that are usually made from a steel bar.

During the quest, the cannon ball is used to shoot at Dondakan's rock in an attempt to break it open, as every other material simply bashes against the rock to no effect.

Although the quest itself requires level 50 Smithing to complete, it is not required to create the cannon ball, instead being only required to create the gold helmet used later in the quest. After completing the quest, golden cannon balls can no longer be made.

• The golden cannon ball has a weight of 20 kg, compared with 0 kg (like all stackable items) of steel cannonballs. Strangely, the bar it is made from only weighs 2 kg.
