Ghommal

Ghommal is the large guard of the Warriors' Guild, and taskmaster for the Combat Achievements system. He turns away players that don't have the level requirements to access the Guild (a combined Attack and Strength level of at least 130, or level 99 in either skill).

Players can talk to him to learn about Combat Achievements, and to receive their rewards from completing the system's reward tiers.

During the While Guthix Sleeps quest, Ghommal is recruited by the player to create a task force against Lucien, though he dies in the ensuing battle against the Mahjarrat. Following his death, Laidee Gnonock takes over his position and duties for the Warrior Guild and Combat Achievements.

• Ghommal is the solution to the master cryptic clue: The doorman of the Warriors' Guild wishes to be impressed by how strong your equipment is. Wear equipment adding up to at least 100 strength bonus when talking to him. A godsword or zombie axe on their own is over 100 strength bonus.

Ghommal will award the player with Ghommal's hilt for earning enough points to complete each Combat Achievement tier. He will also offer to create certain cosmetic variants of the slayer helmet for the player after claiming rewards from the elite, master, and grandmaster tiers.

• His name may be a pun on "G.O.M.L." or get on my level.
• His name is more likely a play on gommel (or gomerel), a regional British and Anglo-Irish dialect word for a "fool" or "boneheaded" person.
