Elder Guards can be found on Ape Atoll and cannot be attacked by players. Two block entry to the palace in which King Awowogei resides. Prior to completion of Monkey Madness II, players must talk to them while wearing a greegree and m'speak amulet in order to gain entry to the palace. After completion of Monkey Madness II, a greegree and m'speak amulet are no longer required to talk to them to gain entry.
Players should take caution around these guards, as they will knock out and imprison any human close enough to a palace entrance.
