Cuthbert

Cuthbert is a talking frog north of Locus Oasis. Along with Gary, Dave, Jane, and Sue, Cuthbert is on strike over labour disputes with Marcellus that go back generations.

During the quest The Ribbiting Tale of a Lily Pad Labour Dispute, the player is tasked with sabotaging Cuthbert during the frogs' election, resulting in Cuthbert's apparent death. Later on in the quest, Cuthbert returns as the self-proclaimed Lord of Dread, whom the player must vanquish in pitched combat. Attack 6 is heard during the fight with Cuthbert.

Although highly unlikely under most circumstances, Cuthbert, Lord of Dread is capable of damaging and killing the player. Additionally, Cuthbert can be killed with recoil damage.

• During the Raging Echoes League, players with the Guardian relic had a very rare chance to summon the Echo Cuthbert guardian thrall when blowing the guardian horn, this also applies to Gridmaster's Guardian relic.

• It's possible that Cuthbert's name in conjunction with the title of the quest is intended as a reference to the character Cuthbert Lilly from the British children's TV show ZZZap!
• Cuthbert could also be a reference to Saint Cuthbert who lived on a small tidal islet near Lindisfarne—now known as St. Cuthbert's Isle—where he lived in a stone-walled cell.
