Unferth's patch is a special farming patch located outside of Unferth's house in Burthorpe. During A Tail of Two Cats, the player must rake the patch, plant potato seeds in it, and harvest potatoes from it as one of the Bob's chores. The patch does not need to be watered or composted, and the potato plants in it fully grow in significantly less time than normal potatoes.
Success chance
The following success rates are provided by Jagex.
The chance of successfully raking a patch depends on your Farming level. Successfully raking will reduce the amount of weeds in the patch by 1 stage, add 1 weeds to your inventory, and grant 4 Farming experience; if you fail, you will automatically attempt to rake it again in 3 ticks (1.8s). Once successfully raked 3 times, the patch is ready to be planted.
