The stink bomb can be obtained by searching a stone chest in The Stranglewood, where players first meet Kasonde.
When set off, a stink bomb will attract the nearest strangled to the location it was set off to help keep them away from the player. A game message will state You set off a stink bomb. It smells as bad as you'd expect.
Stink bombs have a maximum range of ten squares, forming a 21x21 tile attraction area centred on the square where the bomb is set off.
