Stairs are a scenery object found in the western room on the ground floor[UK]1st floor[US] of Handelmort Mansion in East Ardougne. Before climbing the stairs, players must first investigate them for traps, requiring level 21 Thieving. If players attempt to climb the stairs without first disabling the trap, a trapdoor will open dropping the player to the Ardougne Sewers below.
During the Tribal Totem quest, players must use these stairs in order to reach the chest on the floor above in order to obtain the totem.
