Erin, the Silver merchant, runs the Ardougne Silver Stall in East Ardougne. He plays a fairly large part in the Making History quest. The enchanted key is obtained from Erin during and after the quest; it is used in a miniquest to obtain the god Mjolnir weapons. He sells silver bars, silver ore, and unstrung symbols on his stall, buying unstrung symbols for more coins than usual shop owners.
Players with 50+ Thieving can steal from his silver stall. Failure will result in Erin calling for a guard, disallowing you to buy anything from him for a certain amount of time.
Family
His great-grandfather was very likely Drozal, a follower of Zamorak who lived in the Ardougne Outpost with other Zamorakian followers.[1] This is evidenced by Erin possessing his great grandfather's enchanted key, used to find the chest containing Drozal's journal.[2]
