A Research package is an item that players must deliver to Aubury in the quest Rune Mysteries. It is obtained from Archmage Sedridor. If a player dies while having the research package in their inventory, Sedridor will give the player a replacement.

If the player leaves the item in their bank and asks Sedridor for another, he will provide one and the copy in the bank will be removed.

According to the Wise Old Man when asking you to check your bank for you, Sedridor's research into the mysteries of the runes is very interesting, but you don't need it.
