The Rantuki Tribe is one of many elusive and nomadic tribes native to the tropical island of Karamja, found in the central Ardent Ocean. They were once present on Karamja in greater numbers before settlers from the mainland took their land and settled in their hunting grounds.[1]
The Rantuki have managed to remain hidden for decades without problems, and a member of the tribe, Kangai Mau, only recently revealed the tribe's existence as he needed help to reclaim a totem stolen by the East Ardougne noble Lord Kurt Francis Handelmort. This event plays a central role, as does Kangai Mau, in the Tribal Totem quest.
