Poem scroll

The poem scroll is an item obtained during The Blood Moon Rises during the escape from the Castle Drakan of Vampyrium, found on a table in the dining hall. The text of the poem provides the times required for solving the grandfather clock puzzle. The hands are set to the directions (North, West) and number of kills (eleven, four) mentioned.

The solution is derived from reading the map and using the locations as shown on the map (Apsul on the right and Virer on the left) to tell you where to input the answers in the poem. It starts in Apsul as mentioned on the first line, so you start on the right (East) clock and change the big hand for the father and the small hand for the son. The first answer is North "The father then went north,", so you input 12 to point it North and use the big hand as it's the father, then the next is four "For he vanquished four prey." so you input 4 and use the small hand as it was the son who vanquished four. It then goes on to say that they met again in Virer, so you move to the left (West) clock and continue. The next answer is eleven "The father killed eleven," so you input 11 on the big hand for it was the father and finally the last answer is west "Then departed to the West." so you input 9 to point it West on the small hand as it was the son who departed.
